· Stative Verbs used when talking about:

· attitudes · emotion
Examples: I think you are correct.
Common mistake: I am thinking that . . . I forgot your birthday! I love you. I like your top! used when talking about:
·states of "being"
·existence Examples: He is tired. He seems tired. He appears tired. used for: ·possession-> I have a car. ·ownership-> This car belongs to me.
